Spring is Here

There's an old song that goes like this:

Spring is here, why doesn't my heart go dancing? Spring is here, why isn't my heart romancing? No desire, no ambition finds me. Maybe it's because nobody loves me...It's a really happy song.

Anyway, spring is here and that means that the dark and cold days of winter are over, or soon to be over. Winter is holding on around here, however. Rain and cold are pretty much daily events right now. It's OK, though, I like the dark, dank, cold, rainy periods. Back to that song...

I've been working on some interesting projects lately and that usually keeps me relatively happy and excited. I have also submitted some work and entries to design competitions and socially-conscious campaigns. It's fun to do that as well - just to see what is out there and also to sort of give back. I don't really know if any of my work will be chosen to be included in a Design Annual, but at least I try. It is good for me to submit to the pro-bono social causes as well.

So, spring is here. Why doesn't my heart go dancing? Well, maybe it doesn't go dancing, but at least it's beating and I am doing my part, if only a small part, in this vast universe. How about you?
