St. Patty's Day

Even if you're not Irish you can feel like it and participate in the annual wearin' o' the green. I am far from Irish and I enjoy the Day like most others, I guess.

I used to like it a lot more when I drank green beer and thought that's what it's all about. I don't do that anymore, so I have to celebrate in a different way.
I think now about all of the different cultures in the world and how each one of them, I think, has their own Day. It is nice to celebrate and honor the various traditions and holidays, even if they all don't make sense to me or if I don't understand them. It is just nice to be aware.

So, go out and have some green beer, if you do that sort of thing. Or, just take a moment and think of someone else or another culture that's not part of your own. It couldn't hurt.
